The Boston Herald ran an article last week about the Boston Red Sox moving on from last season. In it, catcher Jarrod Saltalamacchia was quoted saying pitchers were goofing off eating Popeye’s and ‘Gansett. Here’s what the Herald reported:

Aside from our Block Party we were just about everywhere this week. From New Haven to Northampton to Boston and back to Providence it was great. We didn’t let a little rain ruin our weekend. The Yankees were at Fenway and Tall Boy and the gang were there for another great Hi Neighbor Homestand. But that’s not all we did. The Gansett Girls were out at various bars around New England promoting Gansett.
