Rain or shine we’ll all be celebrating Irish heritage in good spirits this Saturday. It’s the 56th Annual Newport St. Patrick’s Day parade. This year it falls right on St. Patrick’s Day itself. You better believe we have a float.
It was a nice long weekend with tons of fall fairs and festivals. From the Attitash Brew Fest, Woonsocket Autumnfest and Newport Oktoberfest, Gansett was just about everywhere in New England. We had some great weather and lots of folks enjoyed Narragansett lager and fest beers at all.

The Newport Art Museum invites guests to unwind at the end of the work week tonight, April 22nd with local singer/songwriter Becky Chace. Chace will entertain at 4th Fridays, the Museum’s live music and art series from 6:00 pm – 9:00 pm. Guests are encouraged to explore the Museum’s galleries.
The Newport Kickball team “Planked And Tanked” had their first game this weekend in which they won. Congratulations guys and gals. They proudly sported Gansett shirts with their numbers on them. So to celebrate they headed over to Wharf Pub in Newport for some Gansetts and snacks. Here are the photos from the game.
