We don’t think anyone would really want to eat that fluffy little guy. Apparently Dr. Seuss thought it would be funny to draw Chief ‘Gansett cooking up some bunnies. Born on March 2, 1904 in Springfield, MA, Theodor Geisel became one of the beloved authors of children’s books for years to come. Before his claim to fame, he developed some great images for Narragansett Brewing which were used in several ads.
Since our new Cream Ale just hit the shelves, we thought we’d share with everyone what the older can looked like in the 1970s. This was a popular beer back then. Although the recipe and can is different today, the honor and merit of Narragansett Cream Ale remains the same.
